If you ask teens what surgery they’d choose to enhance their body, breast augmentation appears to be their first choice according to American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, there were more than 200,000 cosmetic surgery procedures performed on teens ranging in age from 13 to 19 in 2009. Breast augmentation and nose jobs were the top two procedures chosen by these teens.Experts suggest that teens undergo breast augmentation surgery to enhance their appearance so that they can gain confidence and fit in with their peers.
Rhinoplasty was the 2nd most popular surgery in teens, after breast augmentation. In 2009, approximately 5000 teens underwent nose reshaping surgery.
